Van Der Valk Hotel Rotterdam Ridderkerk

The Hotel Van der Valk Ridderkerk has spacious rooms that are very comfortable. I loved the breakfast buffet with fresh squeezed orange juice and a wide variety of options. The staff at the reception were friendly and made check-in easy. The service quality in the bar was disappointing. The staff seemed uninterested, and it took a long time to get attention. The cleanliness of the windows in my room was inconsistent. I also missed having a kettle for tea in my room. Despite these issues, the hotel had all the essential amenities needed for my stay.

We had a fabulous overnight stay and the hotel was excellent. The food was wonderful and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would use this hotel again.

I booked a fairly quiet room with a safe, a minibar and central heating. And it had pleasant views and lovely bed. The hotel was set in a central area very close to Ferry from "De Schans ", which is the Ridderkerk-stop of the Waterbus-line, the centre of the old town, and the other restaurant. The employees were courteous and pleasant!

Ridderkerk was misleading for a visitor of mine because the hotel is in fact in barendrecht

we stayed here for 1 night, the hotel was bright and clean, with marvellous and easy location to rotterdam airport.

The room was comfy, but the remote took ages to find and work.

Clean and absolutely perfect room, a shower and hairdryers in the room. Location right by Ferry from "De Schans ", which is the Ridderkerk-stop of the Waterbus-line, south holland, and de centre of Rotterdam.

don't eat at the overpriced restaurant.Food is not good at all.

The room was modern and clean, perfect for a solo traveler. Breakfast offered a good range of healthy options, although the hotel could use a refresh to enhance its visual appeal. Some air-conditioning issues made it a bit uncomfortable at night.

From the moment my collegues and I arrived there was a sense of luxury. Arrived about 9.00pm, check in went well. When my key card did not work they were very helpful and replaced it and also came up to my room to check.
